As every year gets under way the hype around the big C increases. After Two Oceans it reaches ridiculous proportions. There are very few running conversations which do not touch on who is, or who is not doing the big one.

There seems to be a fair amount of press internationally on it: The US is sending over some strong boys and girls as reported in RW.
Michael Wardian will accompany ultra greats Nikki Kimbal and Kami Semick. Josh Cox will be there too.
Could this be the cold war in ultra running? the Ruskies vs the Yankies!

Running legend Bart Yasso will be there too.

I will certainly switch on the telly after my morning jog to catch the final km of action on the 30th.
