For work I get to travel to the major centers around SA on a regular basis. As a result I get to stay in a range of accommodation options form little box holes of a Formula 1 (yes I have done that many times). Some time I do get to stay in a great bed and breakfast. I am up in Jhb for the 947 Cycle Challenge expo. And we found De Wildebeest which is a great spot about 2km from the Coca Cola Dome expo venue.

Well once you manage to find the actual entrance then you enter a little paradise. The three dogs, several chickens (and I would not be surprised if there were a few pigs about) give it all a rural feel. But don’t be fooled rooms are modern, clean and certainly lived up to and exceeded my expectation.

Wifi is available, TV in the room and tea and sherry. Nice touch!

Breakfast options of cereal and English options is served from 7h00.

There are several restaurants in the area for dinner. There is a Virgin Active gym close by. This is a great stop for those doing business in Jhb. You will have to book in advance as they do not accept walk ins.
